I never knew how hard it is to run a show. Even with the help of my lovely sister, Natasha, the Long Beach Quilt Festival took all the energy out of me. When I came home Sunday night I instantly passed out.
But just like my mom, I was up the next morning working. She woke me up at 8am, even though she just got done with her first weekend retreat, and went off to work. I admire her for her tenacity. She never stops working. Even though I'm younger, I needed a bit of a break. Today I got off of work and took a nap.
I don't think I will ever be able to keep up with my mom. But who can?
