This may be surprising, but this weekend (July 28th-31st) will be my first Quilt Show. I have loaded and unloaded many a quilt show, but this time around my mom needs me to work the floor. Let me tell you, that's a whole other ball game. Thank goodness I have my sister Natasha to help me out.
Oh. Did I forget to mention. It's the Long Beach Show. That might not mean much to some people, but just ask anyone from the quilting/fabric world. It is a big deal. At this point, I'm just hoping to make it out alive. But, it's not so intimidating when you have people at the convention who know you or at least know about you. It seems that my mom talks a lot about her kids. Who knew?
